Worship
At St. David’s we view worship as an opportunity for joyful, inspiring and meaningful expressions of faith through scripture reading, prayer, music and reflection. We believe in the strength of joining together for communal worship but recognize that it can be a deeply personal experience. We also believe that worship is included in daily life. In this way, worship reflects a profound sense of respect for the broader community and commitment to spiritual beliefs, moral principles, and nature. At its core, worship involves acknowledging something greater than oneself and responding with humility, gratitude, and dedication. We believe that worship is included in the following services offered with love to anyone in need.
Baptism
Baptism is a sacred event in the life of a Christian. It symbolizes the beginning of a new life in Christ. We offer baptism to individuals of all ages, and our friendly and welcoming community is here to support you on your spiritual journey.

Communion
We celebrate communion as a way to remember the sacrifice that Jesus made for us on the cross. We believe that this is a meaningful act of worship, and we invite all members of the community to participate. Whether you have been a Christian for many years or are just beginning to explore your faith, you are welcome to join us at the table.

Faith Formation
At St. David's United Church, we offer a variety of opportunities to explore and enhance your faith. We joyfully support you on your spiritual journey and help deepen understanding of the Christian faith in preparation for a life of service to God and others.

Weddings
St. David's is a beautiful and historic venue for weddings. Our sanctuary provides a stunning backdrop for your special day, and our friendly and experienced staff are here to help you every step of the way. Whether you are planning a small and intimate ceremony or a grand celebration, we are here to make your wedding day unforgettable.

Spiritual Support
We believe that individual faith journeys are important as part of Christian life. We offer support through discussions with our minister and lay leaders and recommendations for professional spiritual counselling when needed. Communal expressions of faith and confession are included during worship services. We believe that confession is a way to receive God's grace and to begin anew with a clean heart.

Memorials
We understand that one of the most difficult times in life is experienced at the loss of a loved one. We honour the need to recognize and celebrate the life of someone who has passed, through celebrations of life, memorial services and funerals. Our sanctuary and church facilities provide a sacred space for services and receptions. Our Memorial Garden is also available for the scattering or interment of ashes.
