AN OPPORTUNITY FOR EVERYONE TO REACH OUT
St. David’s is committed to being involved in hands-on work that makes a concrete difference in the lives of the most impoverished communities in our city. In response to pressing needs in Vancouver’s poorest neighbourhood, several United Churches in Vancouver have participated in a programme where homeless people are fed beautifully prepared food and attentively served at sit-down dinners at First United Church, located at the corner of Gore and Hastings. St. David’s will be “hosting” a dinner at First United on the third Friday night of the month due to the response and support of the first dinner we served in June.
Anyone from St. David’s is welcome to invite friends and family to participate in this meaningful and important ministry. Help is needed to cook the dinner in advance, (recipes provided), transportation of food, setup, serving and hosting and cleanup.

We are able to continue with this programme, thanks to the generous donations of members of the church. Each dinner costs approximately $250. Please consider this project if you are able to make a donation to the outreach work at St. David’s.
